Lee Howard Bostwick, age 39, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Perry County, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was born on Thursday, May 20, 1982, in Harrisburg to James Alan Bostwick and Sheila Ann (Fitting) Yeater. Lee is preceded in death by his grandfather, George Fitting and his uncle, Chester Gerald Keath.
Lee’s survivors include his wife of 21 years, Rachel Nanette (Beaver) Bostwick; his four children: Elijah, Olivia, Julius, and Gabriel Bostwick; his father, James Bostwick of Ocala, FL; his mother, Sheila Yeater and husband, Robert, of New Bloomfield; his three siblings: CG Bostwick of Perry County, Jackie Bostwick and partner, Daniel Yocum, of New Bloomfield, and Amber Bostwick; his grandmother, Wilma Fitting of Marysville; his in-laws; several nieces and nephews; his beloved canine, Charlie; and his feline companion, Diana.
Lee is remembered as curious, witty, and big-hearted. He is remembered fondly by coworkers, friends, and family alike. Lee strove to make everyone feel accepted and included. He had a degree in history from HACC and never stopped learning. Lee tried to instill that same drive in his children.
He endeavored to make his medical care team feel special and appreciated. Everyone from the head of nephrology to the guy that took out the trash was treated by Lee with respect, gratitude, friendliness, and the information that he thought they deserved a raise.
His greatest and most abiding love was for his family: his grandmother, his mother, his siblings and in-laws, his nieces and nephews, his wife, and especially his beloved children, with whom he coveted more time. His loss is deeply grieved.
